DINWIDDIE COUNTY, Va. — Authorties said a 15-year-old missing since early Friday morning in Dinwiddie County was found safe on Saturday.

Deputies said Diedra Jeeneen-Ann Lundy was last seen on Friday at 4:50 a.m. at her home on Duncan Road in North Dinwiddie County.

Officials said Saturday morning that Diedra was found safe and reunited with her family.

“Thank you for all the shares, prayers, and information you all provided in this matter to bring it to a successful end,” officials posted on the Dinwiddie County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page. “We appreciate each of you.”

Diedra’s stepmother, Kameisha Washington, thanked law enforcement as well as the public for helping bring the teen home.
