Petersburg police issue multiple warrants for man involved in shooting

PETERSBURG, Va. -- Petersburg Police have identified a suspect in connection to a shooting that has left a man fighting for his life.

Warrants have been filed for Terrell Antonio Fisher, age 30 for felonious assault, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, use of a firearm by a convicted felon, and breaking and entering. Fisher is described as being 5’11”, 180 lbs, with black hair and brown eyes.

The shooting took place at the intersection of South Crater and Graham Road around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday evening.

Police took the man to the hospital and later flew him to Richmond where he remains in life threatening condition.

Investigators are asking anyone with information to give them a call.
