“The trooper’s preliminary investigation reveals that a 2002 Kawasaki driven by a male driver, 33, of Sandston, Va., attempted to brake for an F350 work truck that was in the intersection,” said Sgt. Hill. “A 2006 Suzuki driven by a male driver, 34, of Virginia Beach struck the driver of the Kawasaki as he was following him.  As a result, both motorcycle operators struck the truck on the passenger side.”

VSP MedFlight and VCU LifeEvac both responded and took both motorcycle operators to a local hospital.

Both are being treated for serious injuries.

Charges are pending in the case.

The crash remains under investigation.
