ROANOKE COUNTY, Va. — Roanoke County Police are investigating a triple homicide that they said are connected.

Police said that their investigation started Monday after a woman was found by her father in a crashed car in an embankment.

The investigation led to a home on Bent Mountain Road, for a welfare check, according to WDBJ. Two males were found deceased inside the home.

The victims’ ages and identities have not yet been released.

“[All] appeared to have died from gunshot wounds,” a Roanoke County Police spokesperson said. “No one is in custody at this time.”

“Police are aggressively pursuing leads,” the police spokesperson said. “There is no known threat to the public.”

Virginia State Police have been called to help Roanoke County Police investigate the homicides.

This is a developing story.
