GREENSVILLE COUNTY, Va. -- Deputies said a missing man with a medical condition who vanished two days ago in Emporia has been found safe.

Greensville County Sheriff’s Office officials said 32-year-old Cedric Mabrey was last seen at his home on Thursday.

Deputy J. L. Pair said a tip on the WTVR CBS 6 Facbeook page led authorities to Mabrey.

A woman commented that she believed she had seen Mabrey at a gas station near the bus station in Petersburg.

"I just saw him 20 minutes ago," she wrote.

Another commenter wrote that she was calling Petersburg Police.

"A reply on your Facebook post led to us receiving information on his whereabouts and being located safely," Deputy Pair wrote.

Thanks to all who helped spread the word on social media.
