RICHMOND, Va. -- The Science Museum of Virginia celebrated Earth Day by throwing a party on their front lawn.

The local chapter of the American Chemical Society put together some fun activities for kids and families to enjoy.

The learning stations were designed to teach children about the water cycle and environmental science.

Folks were also able to dispose of their old electronics at the museum, so they could be properly recycled.
