RICHMOND, Va. – Great friend of the show Shayne Rogers, AKA ‘Shaynefully Delicious,’ stopped by the Virginia This Morning kitchen to share another great recipe with us! Shayne walked through how to create her Christmas morning Saugage muffins. For more information you can visit https://www.facebook.com/ShaynefullyDelicious/
1 T crushed red pepper, to your taste
Preheat your oven to 425 degrees. Brown the sausage over medium heat until all of the pink is gone. Drain some of the fat off the sausage, if necessary. Stir in Old English cheese, sharp cheddar and crushed red pepper and let the cheese melt into the sausage for 4-5 minutes. Stir together sausage and cheese. Split the English muffins and spread the sausage mixture evenly over the muffin halves. Line two baking sheets with foil or parchment paper and lay the loaded muffins on the pans. Bake for 15 minutes, it may take longer. When you start to smell the sausage the muffins are close to done. They will be brown and bubbly. Cut them in half, if you like
