Bacot’s 36 leads Trinity to TDIT Semifinals

RICHMOND, Va. -- The 23rd Times Dispatch Invitational Tournament began Friday with 8 games around the area.  On the boys side, Trinity, the defending champions, got a game high 36 points from Armando Bacot as they beat Manchester 103-74. 

The Titans will meet Hopewell in the Semifinals after the Blue Devils beat James River 56-47.  Elvin Edmonds IV led Hopewell with 17 points.

On the girls side, Angel Burgos scored 18 to lead three players in double figures as Trinity beat Deep Run 55-31. 

The Lady Titans will also meet Hopewell in the TDIT semifinals after the Lady Blue Devils defeated James River 56-42.
