RICHMOND, Va. -- The CBS 6 Month of Giving is underway. Every day through December, a CBS 6 team member will surprise someone in the community with a random act of kindness. All we ask in return is that people pay it forward at another time.
Chief meteorologist Zach Daniel decided to give a ride to Richmonders waiting at the bus stop. Zach offered four random strangers a ride to their final destination, in a CBS 6 News vehicle.
He made sure that they were okay with dogs, because his famous Golden Lab, Walter, was along for the ride.
On the way to their destinations, Zach asked the passengers what they wanted for Christmas.
At the end of the ride, Zach gave each passenger a $100 gift card, in an effort to brighten their holidays.
