Police: Man with teardrop tattoo stole phone from Verizon store

RICHMOND, Va. -- Police have asked for help finding a man who stole a cell phone from a Verizon store in Richmond.

"At approximately 7:10 p.m. on Friday Nov. 24, the suspect entered the Verizon store in the 1500 block of West Broad Street and stated he intended to buy a phone," a Richmond Police spokesperson said. "Surveillance footage shows the suspect then picking up the phone and running out of the store. He was last seen heading north across West Broad Street and continuing down Lombardy Street."

Police described the man as a black male with a light complexion. He is in his early 20’s and has a teardrop tattoo under his right eye.
