Police ID Massachusetts driver who died in Chesterfield crash

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. — A single-vehicle crash that occurred Saturday evening around 9:20 p.m.  is still under investigation. Police released the driver’s identity Monday.

Police said a 2005 Ford E-350 van, driven by Man S. Choi, 60, was travelling east in the 1600 block of Meadowville Road when it ran off the road into a wooded area. Choi, of Somerville, Mass., was pronounced dead at the scene.

There has been no word yet if weather was a factor in the crash.

Police said their investigating into the crash is ongoing and asked anyone with information to contact the department’s Traffic Safety Section at 804-748-1785.
