CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. -- Chesterfield County Police need your help in identifying a burglary suspect.

Investigators say the man caught on surveillance video broke into Traditionz Smokehouse in the 4800 block of Jefferson Davis Highway Sunday evening.

Owners say the suspect stole cash, a laptop, a computer screen and food after they believe he broke into a back door.

They say they have only been opened in their Chesterfield location for one year and feel violated. Customers say it couldn’t have happened to nicer people.

“You have people that don’t want to work want to take from hard working giving caring people and it’s awful,” said customer Anthony Edwards.

Rob Prestwood, who owns Rob’s Tires next door says it’s concerning, but he’s prepared after being burglarized six years ago. He has a message for potential thieves.

“Don’t try it we have cameras and an alarm system,” said Prestwood.

If you have any information on the suspect’s identity you are asked to call Chesterfield Police at 804-748-1251, Chesterfield/Colonial Heights Crime Solvers at 804-748-0660 or leave an anonymous tip at http://www.p3tips.com/699.
