RICHMOND, Va. – Show favorite Big Herm Baskerville is back on this little Friday to prepare his Sizzling Shrimp Nachos.  Big Herm whips up some cocktails and serves up this delicious dish featuring gooey cheese, blackened shrimp and fresh pico de gallo.  You can visit Big Herm at Big Herm’s Kitchen at 315 N 2nd St., in Richmond and at http://bighermskitchenrva.com/5175.       

Sizzling Shrimp  Nachos

INGREDIENTS:

1 lb – shrimp (tails off and deveined)

1 tablespoon – blackened seasoning

2 tablespoons – butter

1 bag – favorite tortilla chips

12 ounces- pico de gallo

2 cups – shredded cheese

2 – jalapeno sliced

3 – tablespoons sour cream

 

DIRECTIONS:

1: In small bowl toss shrimp in blackened seasoning.

2: In large saute pan melted butter and saute shrimp for 3-4 mins, set aside

3: Take a large cast iron pan and spray the bottom 

4: Layer the chips, then pico and cheese

5: Place shrimp on top and then jalapenos 

6: Bake on 375 for 10-15 mins.

7: Remove from oven and add sour cream.
