RICHMOND, Va. – Ellwood Thompson, a River City staple known for their fresh and local foods, is hosting their next ‘Jazz Brunch in the Beet’ Sunday, December 3rd from 11am to 2pm at 4 N Thompson St. This tasty event, which happens the first Sunday of every month, features delicious breakfast dishes (vegetarian and vegan friendly options), fresh mimosas, and musical entertainment by local super-group Thomas Wakefield & Gypsy Roots. Ellwood Thompson Catering Manager Roberta Arens and Chef Rachel Best visit our kitchen to whip up a Harvest Hash Bowl, which is just one of the tasty options available at the brunch. They are joined by Thomas Wakefield & Gypsy Roots who perform two original songs, “Confessin” and “Troubled Bolero”.
