When we’ll see our next chance for ☔rain this week

RICHMOND, Va. -- It's been a fairly dry November, and we may finish out the month without any additional rainfall.

We have received rainfall on about half of the days so far, but rainfall amounts have been pretty low.

Dry weather is expected through Thursday afternoon.  A cold front will bring our next chance of rain Thursday night into the first half of Friday.  Rain may not arrive until after midnight Thursday night, and we begin December on Friday.

Until then, the nearest precipitation will be some rain and snow in the mountains of West Virginia Saturday night.

After mild temperatures Saturday, it will turn briefly cooler Sunday into Monday before warmer weather returns.  The cold front passing at the end of the week will bring cooler weather for Friday and next weekend.
