RICHMOND, Va. – Dr. Mae C. Jamison, best know as being the first African-American female NASA astronaut to travel to space, joins us LIVE via satellite to talk about the Bayer ‘Making Science Make Sense’ STEM education initiative.  National STEM Day is November 8th from 11am to 1pm at the Space Center in Houston.  The three finalist teams are competing to win a cash prize and a possible first-ever Guinness World Records title for the highest launch of an Alka-Rocket.  For more information you can visit https://www.alkarocketchallenge.com/
