RICHMOND, Va. -- A teenager, who was rushed to the hospital after a shooting in Mosby Court, is a recent high school graduate, according to witnesses.

Richmond Police responded to the 1800 block of O Street just before 1 a.m Thursday for a report of a person shot.

There they found the 17-year-old shooting victim who had been shot multiple times.

The juvenile suffered life-threatening injuries, police said.

"He is like my brother," one woman who didn't want to be identified said."I seen him on the stretcher, but he was moving."

Investigators are looking for two men in white t-shirts last seen running away from the shooting scene after shots were fired.

The shooting comes just days after another teenager was found shot in the head on Brookland Park Boulevard.

Samuel Simm helped treat the Tuesday night shooting victim's wound until paramedics arrived.

"He kept saying, 'I'm going to die,'" Simm recounted. "I said, "You're not gonna die." So, I applied pressure until the ambulance got here."

No arrests have been made in either shooting.

Both victims continue to recover at the hospital, but police have not disclosed their conditions.

Anyone with information was asked to call Crime Stoppers at 804-780-1000 or Detective H. Brown at 804-646-1109.
