HANOVER COUNTY, Va. – Authorities said an 88-year-old who went missing from the Hampton Inn in Mechanicsville on Saturday at 10 a.m. has been found safe.
“Hugo E. Nievas was located safe this morning in Fredericksburg,” Sgt. James R. Cooper with the Hanover County Sheriff’s Office said. “He has been reunited with his family.”
Cooper thanked everyone who shared the information on social media.
Nievas, whose family believes he suffers from a medical condition, was driving a 2016 Chevy four-door sedan with New Jersey license plates A12GCH.
