PETERSBURG, Va. -- One person was injured in a house fire in Petersburg Monday morning.
The fire was reported on Matoax Avenue around 1:10 a.m.
It took firefighters almost an hour to bring the fire under control.
Medics transported one person to the hospital.
The extent of that person's injuries are unknown at this time.
