CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. — Police investigated an accident along the 6900 block of Hull Street Road, near Route 150, in Chesterfield.
“Traffic was slowing down at the light at the Chippenham Parkway interchange when a vehicle (Vehicle 1) bumped into the vehicle (Vehicle 2) in front of it. Vehicle 1 bumped Vehicle 2 several times, causing minor damage. Vehicle 2 moved out of the way, and Vehicle 1 accelerated, struck a stop sign and went into a ditch,” a Chesterfield Police spokesperson said. “The driver of Vehicle 1, an adult female, sustained non-life threatening injuries. The driver of Vehicle 2 was not injured.”
This crash was reported at about 7:40 a.m. Tuesday.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation and no one has been charged.
