Students return to school; gas leak isolated

RICHMOND, Va. — A gas leak reported at Broad Rock Elementary School in South Richmond has been isolated to the school’s kitchen.

Students, who had have been removed from the school and taken to nearby trailers while the fire department investigated, were later allowed back into the building.

No injuries were reported.

The school planned to order pizza for students while crews were to repair the gas line in the kitchen.
