RICHMOND, Va. — November was National Adoption Month and CBS 6 featured 30 children over 30 days in our “A Hand To Hold”series that profiled some of the 700 children in Virginia looking for a “forever” home.
But whether you or someone you know is ready to adopt or not, there’s a way you can give this holiday season to a child looking for some Christmas love.
Nadine Marsh-Carter, from the Children’s Home Society of Virginia stopped by the CBS-6 studio Thursday to talk about the Society’s “Wish List” and The Possibilities Project, a relatively new program designed to help the children who “age out” of the foster system without ever being adopted.

Thanks for helping Virginia’s most vulnerable. They deserve it!
