RICHMOND, Va. — Hunter is a sweet, caring, and sensitive teenager. He thoroughly enjoys all outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, riding dirt bikes and four wheelers, and states that he loves “anything that has a motor.”

Hunter has been described by those involved with him as having a good personality, being a kind and compassionate child, being helpful and hardworking, smart, honest, respectful, and being very verbal or willing to communicate in regards to his case and care.

He has also been described as a child who has a lot of potential and being very resilient in the past and present.

Hunter has some challenges and needs a family that can be patient with him and who is able to give him plenty of one-on-one attention and provide a nurturing and caring environment where he would surely thrive. Hunter would most likely do well in a two parent home or a home with a single male parent.

It is likely that Hunter would do his best in a home with no other children, but if children were present in the home, it would be best if they were significantly older than Hunter.

Hunter would do well in a home with structure and a routine, as most children do.

Hunter is a child who definitely has an interest in finding his “forever family” and very much would like to be adopted. Do you feel that you can meet his needs?

In Virginia, we have hundreds of children who are ready for foster to adoption. In other words, these children are ready to find their permanent and loving forever families. As Connecting Hearts –A Deborah J Johnston Charity, celebrates National Adoption Month, our “30 Kids in 30 Days” initiative is to bring awareness to 30 kids or sibling who are available for forever homes, but also to shed light on the other almost 700 children who may not be seen. Our kids are all ages and races, they were put in foster care due to no fault of their own. To learn more and becoming a foster to adoption parent(s) click here.
