RICHMOND, Va. — Richmond is one of the most sinful cities in the U.S., according to the personal-finance website WalletHub.
“In order to identify the darkest corners of America, WalletHub’s data crunchers compared the 150 most populated U.S. cities across 27 key indicators of evil deeds. Our data set ranges from ‘violent crimes per capita’ to ‘excessive drinking’to ‘potential cheaters,'” a WalletHub spokesperson said.
Richmond ranked as the #7 most sinful city in the nation, thanks in large part to its #3 ranking in terms of vanity and #4 ranking in terms of lust.
Vanity was determined by the number of beauty salons, tanning salons, and plastic surgeons per capita.
The lust ranking is determined by number of Ashley Madison users, number of adult-entertainment establishments, and most active tinder users, per capita. The study also looked at teen births rate.
