HENRICO COUNTY, Va. -- Police are investigating after a man drove to a Henrico Wawa around 5 a.m. Wednesday with a gunshot wound to his back.
The man arrived at Wawa, along the 5200 block of Brook Road near Interstate 95, looking for help.
Police believe the man was shot somewhere near the area of Delmont Street and East Ladies Mile Road near the Richmond-Henrico Count line.
Police from both Henrico and Richmond are investigating the shooting.
The shooting victim was taken to the hospital. His condition has not yet been released.
