Man seriously injured after double shooting in South Richmond

RICHMOND, Va. – A man is fighting for his life and another is wounded after a double shooting in Richmond’s Southside, crime insider sources tell CBS 6 reporter Jon Burkett.

The shooting occurred near the 200 block of East 33rd Street.

Those sources say one victim was transported to VCU Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. The second male victim suffered a gunshot wound to the hand.

Police have not released any additional information about the shooting or possible suspects at this time.
