CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. – Chesterfield Police are investigating a shooting at the Ivy Walk apartment complex that left a victim hospitalized Tuesday night.
Investigators say at 8:50 p.m. they received a call for a person shot in the 5900 block of Brunt Oak Drive.
Friends of the shooting victim drove them to the McGuire VA Medical Center for treatment. The victim was then transported to VCU Medical center with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say they do not know how the victim was shot at this time and the shooting is still under investigation.
There is no information on a suspect at this time. This story is developing.
