RICHMOND, Va. -- A complex storm system will bring rain to our area from Tuesday through early Thursday.

The first round of showers will begin early Tuesday and last through the day.  Highs will be in the mid to upper 60s.  Another wave of showers will move through early Wednesday morning, but we may get into a period of dry weather by the afternoon.  Gusty, mild breezes will boost temperatures into the low and mid 70s.  Then a final round of rain will arrive Wednesday evening through Thursday morning.  This should be the heaviest period of rainfall.  We'll start to dry out Thursday afternoon with temperatures in the lower 60s.

Rainfall totals of over one inch are possible, especially northwest of Richmond.  This will be very beneficial, since rainfall amounts for the month of November are over two inches below normal.
