Hopewell, Va - Ronnie Walker scored both of Hopewell's touchdowns as the Blue Devils knocked off Petersburg 14-8 in the second round of the 3A East playoffs.

Walker scored on a 12 yard run in the first quarter and a 5 yard pass from Cameron Hill in the 4th quarter for all of the Devils scoring. Walker finished with only 67 yards on the ground thanks to a stiff defensive effort from the Crimson Wave defense.

Petersburg (4-8) got a late touchdown when Stanley Davis hit Noah Paige with a 17 yard scoring strike, but they could not get any closer.

Hopewell (9-3) will host Brentsville next week in the 3A quarterfinals.
