RICHMOND, Va. -- A strong cold front will pass through on Saturday and bring the chance for a couple of showers.
After highs around 70° early in the afternoon, temperatures will drop quite a bit before evening as wind speeds increase.
There may be a shower or even a few stray flurries Saturday night to just before daybreak on Sunday.
The higher elevations in western Virginia may see a light accumulation of snow, but that will not affect our area.
Sunday will be partly cloudy, windy and colder with highs in the mid to upper 40s.
It will stay cool much of next week with highs in the upper 40s on Monday and the low to mid 50s Tuesday into Wednesday. Our next system will bring some showers on Wednesday.
