PETERSBURG, Va. — The man found shot to death on Morton Avenue in Petersburg early Tuesday morning was identified as 22-year-old Darian A. Glover, from Prince George County, Virginia, according to police.
Police found Glover’s body at about 1:16 a.m. Tuesday when they were called to the 600 block of Morton Avenue after neighbors reported hearing gunshots.
Minutes after Glover was found, a second man with a gunshot wound walked into Southside Regional Medical Center for treatment.
“It is now confirmed that it is related to the shooting in the 600 block of Morton Avenue,” a Petersburg Police spokesman said.
The second shooting victim was last listed in stable condition.
Police have not yet discussed a motive, nor suspect in the shooting.
