Police bust 2 people for stealing from Lakeside vehicles, sheds

HENRICO, Va. — Two people have been arrested in connection with a rash of crimes in Lakeside. Earlier in the fall, Henrico Police began investigating multiple larcenies from automobiles and toolsheds in the Lakeside area.

The investigation led police to arrest Austin Tyler Mayton and Elizabeth Ellen Duke, both age 22.

Tyler was charged with five counts of grand larceny, three counts of larceny with the intent to sell, five counts of credit card theft, and two counts of petit larceny.  Duke was charged with four counts of grand larceny, two counts larceny with intent to sell, one count of petit larceny, and eight counts of credit card theft.

Both were charged on Tuesday, Nov. 15.

Tyler lives in the 2500 block of Kenwood, while Duke’s home address was listed as Mineral.
