CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. -- Police have charged a driver with driving under the influence, grand larceny for the stolen vehicle, and driving without a license after a Tuesday morning school bus crash.
Police say Ernesto Blackbourne ran a stop sign and hit the Chesterfield school bus, according to Chesterfield Police.
The SUV became partially lodged under the bus as a result of the crash.
None of the Hening Elementary students on the bus were hurt, police said.
The driver's injuries have not yet been released.
The accident was reported at 8:04 a.m near the intersection of McCrae and Rattlesnake roads.
The SUV was reported stolen out of Richmond.
