Man surrenders to police in connection to 1 of 8 weekend shootings

RICHMOND, Va. — A Richmond man turned himself into police in connection to a shooting that occurred in the South Garden neighborhood; one of eight shootings that took place over the weekend.

According to Richmond Police, Milton A. White, Jr, 22, faces multiple felony charges in connection with the shooting that occurred at approximately 10:43 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 12.

White turned himself into authorities Monday evening.

He is charged with breaking and entering, malicious discharge of a firearm within a dwelling and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

The shooting took place on the 4900 block of Orcutt Lane.

Police located an adult male inside a residence suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
