Chesterfield stores robbed; Money, beer, cigarettes stolen

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. – Chesterfield Police are looking for suspects in two armed robberies.

The first robbery happened at the  A Plus Convenience Store at 7100 Hull Street Road at about 12:09 a.m. Thursday.

A masked man walked inside, displayed a firearm, and demanded money, police said. The gunman ran off after getting the cash.

Police described the robber as a black male, between 16 and 20 years old, 5' 8" tall, with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt or scarf over his face, white ball cap, black jacket, tan pants, and tan shoes.

No one was injured during the incident.

A few hours later, two men robbed the 7- Eleven at 5549 Belmont

Around 4:30 a.m., the suspects entered the store, displayed handguns, and demanded money, police said. Those suspects ran off with cigarettes, beer, and an undisclosed amount of money.

The first suspect is described as a black male, approximately 30 years old, 6 feet tall with a medium build.  He was wearing a black hooded jacket, black pants, black and white athletic shoes, and a white mask covering his face.

The second suspect is described as a white male, approximately 30 years old, 5 feet 7 inches tall with a medium build.  He was wearing eyeglasses, a black hooded jacket, blue jeans, and black and white athletic shoes.

No one was injured.
