RICHMOND, Va. – State Police are asking for the public’s help to identify a woman who is wanted in connection with a Richmond robbery and abduction in July.
Investigators say the incident happened on July 16 after two men gave a ride to a male and female acquaintance in Henrico County.
That’s when the male suspect, identified as Ricky S. Coleman, 20, took a pistol from the male passenger and held the driver at gunpoint.
Police say Coleman then forced to driver to drive to Darbytown Road in eastern Henrico County. Upon reaching the Darbytown Road, Coleman and his female companion fled on foot, according to police.
The actual robbery and abduction happened on Interstate 64 in the City of Richmond.
Coleman, of Highland Springs, was arrested in September and charged with multiple charges, including robbery and abduction. He is being held without bond at the Richmond City Jail.
The woman who accompanied Coleman is described as a black female 5’4 to 5’5 tall, weighing 140 pounds, with brown eyes.
State Police are also still trying to locate the stolen handguns: a Smith & Wesson 9 mm with a camouflage slide and a black H&K VP40.
