Multiple cars sprayed with bullets in Creighton Court shootout

RICHMOND, Va. — Police are investigating a shootout in Richmond’s Creighton Court neighborhood Tuesday where multiple vehicles were sprayed by bullets.

Police said the shooting happened in the 2100 block of Creighton Road around 11 a.m.

Investigators say three cars were sprayed by bullets and another three cars crashed during the shooting.

No one was hit or injured during the shootout.

Sources tell CBS 6 there were multiple children outside playing when the gunfire rang out. School-age children are out of school Tuesday due to Election Day.

Forensic crews were still on the scene collecting evidence and taking photos of bullet holes more than four hours after the shooting.

There is no information on a motive or suspect in the crime at this time.
