86-year-old woman missing in Richmond found safe

RICHMOND, Va. – Richmond Police have confirmed Willie Mae White, 86, has been found safe after being reported missing Sunday. No other detailed have been released at this time.

The Richmond woman was last seen around 9 a.m. Sunday in the 1400 block of Chambers Street, which is in the Bellemeade section of Richmond near Jefferson Davis Highway. Police said White may appear to be confused.

White is described as a black woman with grey hair, 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighing about 130 pounds.

She was last seen wearing a white and pink shirt with white, black and grey sweater. She was wearing blue pants and is possibly wearing two different colored shoes.

Anyone with information about Willie Mae White is asked to call Major Crimes Detective Sharon Armstead at 646-8357 or Crime Stoppers at 780-1000. Citizens can also text Crime Stoppers at 274637, using the key word “ITip” followed by your tip. Both Crime Stoppers methods are anonymous.
