LOUISA COUNTY, Va. — The Louisa Sheriff’s Office is investigating reports that county voters are receiving phone calls aimed to confuse them on Election Day.

“When the resident receives a call they are asked to share who they may be voting for; depending upon the resident’s response the caller informs them that their voting location has changed,” a Louisa Sheriff’s spokesman said. “We would like everyone to be made aware that your voting location has not changed.”

The Louisa Sheriff’s Office asked anyone who received a call like this, to report it to investigators at 540-967-1234.
