HENRICO COUNTY, Va. --- Virginia State Police arrested a man they say led them on a chase through the streets of Henrico County.
just after 1 a.m. Sunday, investigators said a Virginia State Trooper tried to pull a man over for reckless driving along I-95 South near Chamberlayne Avenue.
The suspect sped away and a pursuit ensued, police said.
State Police, assisted by Henrico County Police, followed the suspect down East Laburnum Avenue.
The suspect led officers on a chase until he reached a dead end in the 4200 block of Valley Side Drive, that's where police said the suspect stopped in someone's yard, jumped out, ran , and hid.
State Police called in K-9 units to search for the suspect.
Dogs found the man hiding in a nearby woods about 15 minutes later.
The suspect's name has not yet been released.
