Posted

Hermitage's running back Jordan Hall rushed for 263 yards and four touchdowns as the Panthers defeated Douglas Freeman 41-7 for their 9th straight win overall.

Hall got the scoring started on the Panthers' first possession of the game as he finished a five play drive with a one yard touchdown.  Hall would add a four yard and 12 yard touchdown before halftime as Hermitage led 21-0 at the break.

He would continue the scoring in the third quarter with a 71 yard touchdown; his fourth and final td of the game.  Panthers Head Coach Patrick Kane said about him after the game, "Jordan Hall is tough as nails!"

The win was Hermitage 16th straight in the series dating back to 2000 and will go into the 5A South Playoffs next week as the number three seed.

Douglas Freeman's offense could never get on track as quarterback Trey Laughlin would get harassed by the Panthers' defense, limiting the Rebels to one touchdown.

Hermitage improves to 9-1 while Douglas Freeman suffered their first loss and ends the regular season 9-1.
