RICHMOND, Va. – With all the forums out of the way, Richmond mayoral candidate Jack Berry announced plans to hold a rally the day before the election.

Berry will host “Rally for Richmond” from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 7.

This will be his last major event before the election.

Berry will emphasize his plans to improve Richmond if he is elected mayor.

“I’m running for mayor to make Richmond a magnet of opportunity for young people, families and businesses, and a more hopeful place for those who have been left behind,” he said.

Some of his endorsers will also speak. Berry has been endorsed by the Richmond Free Press, the Richmond Times-Dispatch, former VCU President Gene Trani, former city manager Robert Bobb, Viola Baskerville, and several other organizations.

The rally will be held at Dovetail Construction Co. Inc. 1620 Brook Road Richmond, VA 23220.

“I’m With Jack” T-shirts and other paraphernalia will be available for supporters.
