PETERSBURG, Va. -- A search is underway for a suspect wearing a clown mask after a shooting in Petersburg Tuesday night, sources tell CBS 6.
Police said the shooting happened near the intersection of Perry and West Washington Streets. Investigators say they are also looking for a second victim that could have been shot in the area.
Sources say the victim was shot in the wrist where a bullet became lodged. The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police have not released any information about a suspect in the case, but police sources say the suspect was wearing a clown mask. there is no description of the mask available at this time.
The shooting remains under investigation.
