Second ranked Highland Springs got contributions up and down the roster in knocking off Patrick Henry 49-0 in week 10. Six different players scored and the defense contributed a score as well as the Springers improved to 8-1 on the season.
Juwan Carter threw for 138 yards and two scores to Chris Thaxton. Carter also ran for a score as did Billy Kemp and Jai'veon Smalls and Rell Coley added a 69 yard fumble return for a TD.
One week after getting 238 rushing yards from QB Hunter Hart, the Patriots (7-2) were held to only 96 yards on the ground.
