If the Douglas Freeman Rebels were looking ahead to next week's showdown with Hermitage, they didn't let on. Trey Laughlin threw 3 interceptions, but Tanner Dobrucky had 2 rushing touchdowns and the Rebel defense held an opponent to a touchdown or less for the 5th time this season. Freeman improves to 9-0 for the second straight season.
Godwin was led by Will Abbott who threw for 116 yards and carried another 16 times for 25 yards in the loss. The Eagles (4-5) finish up their season next week against John Marshall.
