PETERSBURG, Va. — A man who was shot at a weekend house party in Petersburg suffered a non-life threatening injury, according to police.
Investigators are looking for clue in hopes of finding the gunman.
The shooting victim was at a party in a home along the 600 block of Grove Avenue, according to Petersburg Police spokesman Capt. Brian Braswell.
Sometimes between 1 a.m. and 2 a.m. Sunday, witnesses heard about six gunshots.
The wounded man then emerged from the party and was driven to the hospital.
Police believe the shooting was “random.”
