RICHMOND, Va. — Going out to eat at Richmond restaurants can make for an expensive evening. But according to Richmond Police, some people are paying for meals without ever leaving home.

Richmond Police detectives need help identifying a man suspected of credit card fraud.

“During several instances last month, the man in the photos used credit card numbers fraudulently in restaurants, convenience stores and clothing stores in Richmond’s East End and Shockoe Bottom neighborhood and in the surrounding counties,” a Richmond Police spokesman said. “Detectives believe, since the victim reported he still had the credit card in his possession, that the suspect made a duplicate card.”

Anyone with information was asked to call First Precinct Detective Calvin Layne at 804-646-0698 or Crime Stoppers at 804-780-1000.
