Thieves target ATM in Dinwiddie Food Lion break-in

DINWIDDIE COUNTY, Va. — Investigators are asking for the public’s help to identify the suspects involved in the break-in and robbery of a Dinwiddie County Food Lion.

Police said the incident happened during the early morning hours of Friday, October 14.

The suspects broke into the Food Lion located in the 13000 block of Boydton Plank Road in central Dinwiddie County.

Police said the suspects targeted an ATM machine inside the store and made off with an undisclosed amount of money. Evidence at the scene leads investigators to believe that the suspects were in the store from just past midnight to approximately 2:30 am.

There is no suspect descriptions available at this time.
