MIDLOTHIAN, Va. -- A suicide was reported outside the MARTIN's grocery store located on Charter Colony Parkway, off Midlothian Turnpike, in Chesterfield County.

Witnesses reported hearing a gunshot Monday morning and soon saw police, fire, and other emergency crews arrive on scene.

Initial reports indicated a man drove into the parking lot, exited his car, and shot himself.
