Cash, jewelry stolen in Henrico armed robbery, 2 suspects on the loose

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. -- Police are searching for two suspects accused of robbing two men at gunpoint in front of their Henrico County apartment complex.

Investigators said the robbery happened just before 10 p.m. in 800 Wales Dr. at the Jackson Pointe apartment complex.

Police said two victims were leaving the complex, when two masked suspects approached them. That’s when one suspect pulled out a gun and demanded money and jewelry.

The victims compiled to the demands and the suspect fled the scene. There were no injuries during the robbery.

Investigators ran a K-9 search that stopped at the corner of Wales Dr. and Lee Ave. Police believe that’s where the suspects got away in a getaway car.

The two suspects are described as black males. There is no other description available at this time.
